Mr P S Ravi has joined as Director (Downstream) at Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry.

He is a Mechanical Engineer with Masters in Financial Management and started his career in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. in Materials Department, Mumbai.

Spanning over 35 years in oil industry, he had handled a variety of roles comprising of Materials Management, Maintenance Engineering, Operations Management and Marketing Management.

He has held various leadership positions at BPCL in both sales and operations, Head of Highway Retailing, Head of Central Procurement organization, Retail Head of Western and Southern Regions.

He was heading Retail Business as Executive Director in Bharat Petroleum for 4 ½ years and was responsible for all sphere of Retail Marketing namely sourcing, storage, distribution and sales of motor spirit (Petrol), High Speed Diesel (HSD), CNG through network of retail outlets. He was responsible for building shared vision and strategy for realising business vision for Retail Business.

As Executive Director (Corporate Entities), looked after corporate strategy and supply chain optimisation.

In addition, played a key role as Industry Co-ordinator in successful implementation of Ethanol Blending program in the country from 2019-2023.
